Dreamwork: Ancestors Echo in the House of Tomorrow

On the eve of its 6th birthday, the Helga De Alvear Museum presents one of its most ambitious exhibitions and curatorial projects to date, bringing to life the museum’s vision of serving as a hub for transcultural ideas and a vista for the imagination. Curated by Professor Omar Kholeif and featuring the art of over 60 artists.

From 11 December, 2026 to 23 May, 2027

Dreamwork: Ancestors Echo in the House of Tomorrow is as much a song and an incantation as an exhibition: an open constellation of art, gathered in abundance across cultures, that invites each of us to kindle the imagination through its panoramas of visual expression.

Opening: 11 December 2026.

In collaboration with MAAT—Museum of Art, Architecture, and Technology, Lisbon.
